Privacy Policy

God 365 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile application designed for spiritual tracking and journaling. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We believe your spiritual life is deeply personal. That principle guides every decision we make about your data.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Display name
- Email address
- Password (stored only as a secure, one-way hash — we never store or see your actual password)
Journal Entries and Prayers
You may create entries across categories including Quiet Time, Dreams, Visions, Prophetic Words, Journal, Voice Notes, Gallery, and others. Each entry may include:
- Text content, titles, and dates
- Hebrew calendar dates (automatically calculated)
- Attached photos or audio recordings
You may also create prayer requests with titles, descriptions, and status updates.
Voice Recordings
If you use the voice note feature, audio files (up to 50 MB) are uploaded and stored securely. Supported formats include M4A, MP3, WAV, WebM, and AAC.
Photos
If you attach or capture photos, image files (up to 20 MB) are uploaded and stored securely. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, HEIC, and HEIF.
AI Chat Messages
If you use the AI spiritual guidance feature, your messages and the AI's responses are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 7 days.
Push Notification Tokens
If you enable notifications, we store a device token to deliver push notifications. We also store your device platform (iOS or Android).
Preferences
We store your chosen settings, including Bible version, app theme, AI personality preference, and AI privacy settings (which categories the AI assistant may access).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and operate the God 365 app:
- Deliver the service — store and display your entries, prayers, and media
- AI spiritual guidance — send entry content to our AI provider, but only from categories you explicitly permit through your AI Privacy Settings
- Audio transcription — convert voice recordings to text when you request it
- Push notifications — send reminders and encouragement at your chosen schedule
- Password resets — send a one-time code to your email if you forget your password
- Achievements — calculate milestones and streaks based on your activity
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the app for you.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following services to operate God 365. Each receives only the minimum data necessary for its function:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.
4. Data Retention

When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently removed, including entries, prayers, media files, chat history, and preferences.
4a. Subscriptions and Billing
God 365 offers optional premium subscriptions through in-app purchases. Subscriptions are processed and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), depending on your device.
- Payment information: We do not collect or store your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.). All payment processing is handled directly by Apple or Google.
- Subscription data we store: Your subscription status (free, premium, expired), subscription source (Apple or Google), expiration date, and transaction identifiers.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status across platforms. RevenueCat receives your app user ID and purchase transaction data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.
5. Your Rights and Controls
Built Into the App
- AI Privacy Settings — Choose exactly which entry categories the AI assistant can access. You can change this at any time.
- Data Export — Download all your entries and prayers as a JSON file from your Profile screen.
- Account Deletion — Permanently delete your account and all associated data from your Profile screen.
Under GDPR (European Economic Area)
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
Under CCPA (California)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and why
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell your data

6. Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
- All connections use HTTPS encryption
- Rate limiting protects against abuse (login attempts, API requests, and account creation are all rate-limited)
- Input sanitization prevents injection attacks
- Secure sessions with server-side session management
No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and promptly address any vulnerabilities.
7. Children's Privacy
God 365 is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
8. What We Don't Do
We want to be clear about what God 365 will never do:
- No advertising — There are no ads in the app, and we do not share data with advertisers
- No tracking — We do not use analytics trackers, fingerprinting, or behavioral profiling
- No data selling — We will never sell your personal information to anyone
- No public profiles — There are no social features; your data is visible only to you
- No third-party marketing — We will never share your information for marketing purposes
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may notify you via email or within the app.
